From 2024-2025, investigation at locations growing plants of the genus Panax (Ngoc Linh ginseng, Lai Chau ginseng, Vu Diep ginseng,...) in Sa Pa town (Sa Pa Medicinal Research Center, Truc Lam Dai Giac Zen Monastery, Hoang Lien National Park and family ginseng gardens). The results of investigation, collection, isolation and appraisal recorded 8 species of insects and 3 species of harmful animals on all parts of the plant including: Helopeltis cinchonae, Spodoptera litura, Aphididae sp., Pseudococcus sp., Diaspidae sp., Aleurodicus dispersus, Gryllidar sp., snails and rats. 4 main harmful diseases include 3 species on leaves and 1 species on tubers: anthracnose (Collectotrichum acutatum), yellow wilt (Fusarium oxysporum), seedling dieback (Rhizoctonia solani) and tuber rot (Pseudomonas sp.)...
